The Voyager Network assists businesses, communities and educational venues with the interior of British Columbia by offering economic and leadership development programs. Partnering with communities, business, provincial, and federal agencies and private foundations our Extension Services can help communities address challenges facing the tourism industry that can realize tangible opportunities.
Most new jobs are created through expansion of existing businesses. Our online Extension Service helps community leaders and businesses analyze local economies and develop strategic plans and actions for retaining and strengthening the community's business base and a sustainable economy.
Expert staff have created materials, workshops, consultations, and community tourism assessments. Voyager Network specialists also facilitate strategic planning seminars for a variety of community and industry groups. Examples of topics include goal setting, vision/mission development, organizational development, and plan of work prioritizing.

- Adventure Economy Index assembled by researchers at the Voyager Network. The index is based on tourism sector surveys and a study of the local economy as well as trends that together determine the state of the tourism industry in the south central interior of BC.
